Thermography infrared has applications in both military and civilian applications. In civilian use, it is generally called an infrared thermal imaging camera, which is mainly used in research and development or industrial inspection and equipment maintenance. It is also widely used in fire prevention, night vision and security. In layman's terms, a thermal imaging camera converts the invisible infrared energy emitted by an object into a visible thermal image. The different colors on the top of the thermal image represent different temperatures of the measured object.
